- Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
- Advises customers on operation procedures and requirements of systems.
- Communicates effectively over the phone to assist customers.
- Tests and verifies the functionality of the equipment sent in for repair.
- Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions.
- Document processes and complete required documentation.
- Collaborate with technical team to resolve technical issues.
- Complete pre-sale upgrades and conversions as needed to meet customer orders.
- Evaluate, and refurbish systems returned from demonstrations and rental activities.
- Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnoses.
- Responsible for setting up basic network connections
- Must troubleshoot basic network connections
- Define IP address by assigning subnet and IP address.
- 2-year Technical degree, apprenticeship program, or equivalent in a technical or military field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in electrical/electronic and mechanical or related professional positions.
- Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Experience speaking with clients and assisting them over the phone by troubleshooting equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
