Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Administrator to join their team in Rochester, NY. This role is essential for managing property tax invoices, processing incoming tax correspondence, and providing overall support to the tax team. This position requires a full-time onsite presence in Rochester, NY.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive, identify, and sort all incoming tax mail daily.
- Monitor, track, prepare payments, and store notices and property tax bills.
- Maintain electronic filing systems in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- E-file sales and use returns, ensuring all filings are completed timely.
- Generate tax-related forms, such as W9 and exemption certificate requests.
- Maintain accurate and complete customer tax exemption records.
- Provide administrative support to various tax team members as needed.
- Handle tasks such as courier arrangements and mail pickup to support the tax team.
