What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Specialist position at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in company systems and databases.
2. Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
3. Perform data cleaning to ensure consistency and data integrity.
4. Process and organize large volumes of data in a timely manner.
5. Communicate with team members to resolve any data discrepancies.
6. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
7. Assist with special projects or additional tasks as needed.
8. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
9. Excellent typing skills with the ability to input data quickly and efficiently.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with data entry software.
11. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
12. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
13. Inventory quality and controls.
14. Other duties as assigned by EGM Director and/or C.E.O.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Able to read, write, and communicate in the English language preferred. Knowledge of EGM systems and proficiency in the use of computers. Able to perform assigned duties without supervision. Exceptional troubleshooting skills are preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Bi-lingual English/ Spanish preferred. Must be culturally sensitive to minority population especially Native Americans; must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check. Must be able to work well under pressure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Performs duties in a well-lighted, ventilated and temperature-controlled office environment with noise level of quiet to moderate. Occasional exposure to a smoke-filled, noisy environment with flashing lights. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use good manual and finger dexterity, and handle or feel objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
