What are the responsibilities and job description for the MIS Tech position at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Troubleshoot all VSE (Video Surveillance Equipment)
2. Makes (moves/adds) and changes on all the current VoIP phone systems.
3. Monitor Ingress/Egress system- Mag Locks and Swipe Devices
4. Service & Support of different computer software (eg. POS, VoIP, Windows 10/11, Anti-virus, Accounting, Human resource applications, Video (TV's and Video walls), and audio.
5. Provides troubleshooting on multiple hardware platforms
6. Troubleshoot network devices that provide connectivity for users and access to network resources, and switches.
7. Maintains Spyware/ Spamware and virus protection through-out the SREC network.
8. Troubleshoot Purchase order systems.
9. Monitors on a daily basis workstations and servers, AV, Backups, and the Network.
10. Program Two-way Radios.
11. Performs other position-related duties as assigned and required by I.T Director/ CEO.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
M.I.S Technician must have a good computer technical troubleshooting skills, be creative, familiar with the different types of cabling- data, phone, audio, and video. Technician must be able to understand schematics and floor plans. Able to use a multimeter and other testing tools.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associated of Applied Science in IT or relevant field or 2 IT certifications in lieu of degree. Bi-lingual English/ Spanish preferred. Must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check. Good oral and writing skills; must be able to work well with others. Must be culturally sensitive to minority population especially Native Americans; must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal history background check. Must possess excellent customer service skills for dealing with diverse patrons. Must be able to work well under pressure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with fellow staff and/or customers. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit. Must be able to use and climb ladders, operate a scissor lift, and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to crawl in small areas to run cable.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
