Case Manager (Paralegal) - Personal Injury Pre-Litigation

Speaks Law Firm is looking for a highly motivated and organized Case Manager/Paralegal to join our pre-litigation team. Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of case management experience specific to personal injury. This position will report to our Charlotte office and hours of work are Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with clients
  • Conduct legal research
  • Prepare and manage legal documents
  • Evaluate medical records
  • Provide case updates regarding medical treatment, investigations, and other case related information
  • Maintain updated lien and balance information
  • Communicate with insurance and health adjusters regarding demand packages, policies, liens, and payment logs
  • Complete systematic file review of demand packages
  • Maintain accurate and updated client files in Needles Neos CSM
  • Attend weekly and biweekly team meetings as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Paralegal certificate a plus
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant personal injury experience required
  • Knowledge of medical jargon and ability to evaluate medical records is essential
  • Must understand legal language, principles, and other related processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills required
  • Needles/Neos case management software experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and staff
  • Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude required
Compensation:
The is a full-time exempt position. Salary depends on experience.
