Role Description :
Reporting to the President and working closely with the entire team, the VP of Business Development is charged with driving net new business for Spear and securing new clients. The role requires a strong background and a track record of success in sales and business development in a B2B and / or professional services setting, particularly working with senior level decision makers. The ideal candidate will have a unique ability to build relationships and develop networks.
Responsibilities :
- Prospecting for new clients through social media, email outreach, and other channels
- Maintaining an active presence on social media to drive engagement and interest in Spear
- Responding to, and following up with, new inbound leads to Spear
- Working closely with client services to ensure a smooth and productive handoff from sales to the account team
- Maintain an accurate reporting of current sales pipeline to inform company management, operations, and client services.
