What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Speech Therapist position at Speare Memorial Hospital?
The Speech/Language Pathologist is responsible for providing direct and consultative speech/language pathology services for adult inpatients, outpatients, contacting agencies and community programs. He/she is directly accountable and responsible to the Director of Rehabilitation Services. Ability to work independently or as part of a comprehensive interdisciplinary team. Maintenance and appreciation for the professional code of ethics. Personal Qualifications: Mature individual with a professional attitude and appearance. Effective communication skills with ability to maintain intradepartmental relationships. Interest in professional and departmental growth . Awareness of professional capabilities and limitations . Required - Master's degree in speech/language pathology
