Applications / Field Service Engineer – CNC Swiss Machines
Are you passionate about CNC machining and eager to take your technical expertise on the road? We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Applications / Field Service Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will provide expert-level support for Swiss CNC machine tools , focusing on Citizen and Miyano CNC machines . If you have a strong background in CNC machining and enjoy working hands-on with customers, we encourage you to apply.
Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources to research and resolve machine issues efficiently.
Customer Training & Support
Conduct on-site and remote training sessions for distributors and customers, providing expert guidance on programming, setup, and maintenance.
Offer ongoing technical support via phone, email, and on-site visits to assist with troubleshooting and process optimization.
On-Site Service & Maintenance
Travel to customer facilities to handle installation, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of CNC machines and controls.
Execute warranty repairs and provide after-warranty service to ensure long-term machine reliability.
Documentation & Industry Knowledge
Maintain detailed reports on machine issues, repairs, and customer interactions, providing valuable feedback to management.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in CNC machining and Swiss-style lathes to continuously enhance service offerings.
Qualifications & Skills
Hands-on experience with Swiss CNC machines , preferably Citizen or Miyano.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for CNC programming, setup, and maintenance.
Excellent communication skills to train customers and provide effective remote and on-site support.
Ability to travel frequently to customer locations, providing top-tier field service.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting machine tool manuals, blueprints, and technical documents .
