Construction Estimator / Project Manager
Location : Charlotte, NC & Surrounding Areas (Hybrid)
Salary : $80,000 - $105,000 (Based on Experience & Industry Knowledge)
About the Role :
We are seeking a Construction Estimator / Project Manager with experience in the industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering background and a strong work ethic, ready to put in the hours needed to ensure successful project execution.
This role is a hybrid position, with estimating and takeoff work primarily done remotely, while the project management responsibilities will require on-site presence at new construction projects within an hour of Charlotte (Mecklenburg and surrounding counties).
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and interpret construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
- Perform material takeoffs and cost estimates for paving and asphalt projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee site operations to ensure quality control and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and suppliers to facilitate project progression.
- Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to maintain efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
