Job Description:
Spec Results is hiring a van driver to join our team. The driver will be charged with providing transportation for children receiving in-office services..
Responsibilities:
- Provide supports and maintain client safety and well-being
- Provide safe and timely transportation to required destinations.
- Fosters positive relationships between caretakers and individuals served.
- Ensures client safety and maintaining a safe environment.
- Participate in ongoing trainings and certification to ensure compliance with rules and regulations for the agency and all involved governing bodies.
- Maintain daily recordkeeping for transportation services.
- Report any possible major unusual incidents (MUI) in accordance with MUI reporting guidelines
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Professionalism and respect towards the individuals we serve.
- Communication skills (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
- Ability to resolve conflict or unexpected issues during transportation.
- Ability to represent organization during meetings and community outreach activities
- Willingness to transport individuals into the community using company vehicle when needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (required)
- GED
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
- Ability to successfully pass state mandated BCI/FBI check
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
7:30AM-9AM
AND
1PM-2:30PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
