Your Role
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports to the CPO/Head of Marketing and plays a key role in enhancing brand visibility, engaging target audiences, and ensuring seamless communication across various channels. This individual will be responsible for coordinating tradeshows and events, managing social media platforms, creating compelling content, and overseeing website updates. Additionally, they will support the development of press releases, marketing collateral, and internal communications to align with the company's strategic goals. Working closely with cross-functional teams, they will ensure brand consistency and effective messaging across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tradeshow & Event Coordination – Plan, organize, and execute company participation in industry tradeshows and events, including logistics, booth setup, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.
- Social Media Management – Develop and implement social media strategies, create engaging content, monitor analytics, and foster audience engagement
- Content Creation – Write and edit marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, case studies, and internal communications
- Press Releases & Media Relations – Draft press releases, coordinate media outreach, and manage relationships with industry publications
- Website Management – Maintain and update website content, ensuring information is current, relevant, and aligned with branding
- Graphic Design – Create visually appealing graphics for social media, marketing materials, presentations, and digital content
- Marketing Campaign Support – Assist in the planning and execution of digital and traditional advertising/marketing campaigns
- Brand Management – Ensure consistency in messaging, design, and tone across all marketing channels
- Analytics & Reporting – Track key marketing metrics, provide insights, and suggest improvements to enhance engagement and outreach
- Internal Communications – Support company-wide communication efforts, including employee newsletters and leadership messaging
Required Experience and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other relevant field of study.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Aerospace and Defense industry experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills, well-organized, with attention to detail

How You Will Be Rewarded:
SAS provides a total rewards approach to compensation, providing incentives and benefits far beyond base salary.
The annual salary for this role depends on the candidate’s work experience, education/training, and related skills but is expected to fall between the range of $45,000 - $65,000.
