What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Room Assistant/Special Education position at Special Education Dept.?
The Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for a Health Room Assistant that would provide services to special education students across the district.
Description:
Serve as a floating nurse in the district's special education classrooms. This position will assist building nurses and private agency nurses in providing health services to identified students.
Qualifications:
Minimum: Licensed Practical Nurse Experience, experience working with school-age children.
Other Skills: Ability to remain calm and reassuring under stressful and emergency situations. Ability to relate to parents and school staff in a cooperative manner. Positive Attitude.

Up-to-date Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances must be attached to your online application to be considered for an interview. Clearances must be for EMPLOYMENT purposes. We are not permitted to accept VOLUNTEER clearances. Clearances more than five (5) years old will not be accepted.
