Full Job Description:
| General Definition of Work:
Responsible for providing psychological services needed for students of the school division and provide crisis intervention services, perform other duties as assigned. |
Essential Functions:

| Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to assess, screen, and evaluate students; ability to establish and maintain cooperative professional relationships with administrative and school staff; knowledge of child growth and development; Excellent oral and written communication skills. |
Education and Experience: Holds or is eligible for the Virginia Pupil Personnel Services License with an endorsement in school psychology. Must be eligible to participate in school-based Medicaid claiming by having a valid NPI number or willing to secure a NPI number upon employment. |
Physical Conditions and Nature of Work Contacts: Conducts work typically in an office or classroom setting, with occasional walking, light lifting, or other limited physical activities. Frequent operation of a vehicle and office equipment is required. Regular and frequent contacts made at all organization levels for the purpose of developing and achieving organization goals and mission. Regular travel to school sites is required. |
Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated on the ability and effectiveness in carrying out the above responsibility. |
