We seek a dedicated and knowledgeable Instructor to join the Special Friend Community Center team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate discussions to enhance student understanding.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional strategies and share best practices.
- Stay current with developments in the field of education and integrate new methodologies into teaching practices.
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or Diploma in the relevant subject area is preferred.
- Previous teaching or instructional or clinical/hospital experience is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students and staff.
- Minimum two years experience in phlebotomy, EKG, IVs, laboratory procedures, OSHA, front office administration, and computer skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to enhance learning experiences.
