Position Summary : Responsible for ensuring that all requested equipment, material, services and supplies are negotiated, purchased and received following company guidelines, policies and / or requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Plans, organizes, oversees and evaluates the purchasing activities and budget of the organization.
• Negotiates major purchases, develops blanket or master agreements with suppliers and engages in all aspects of contract management.
• Develops and manages the organization's purchasing policies, procedures, standards, and strategies in order to ensure process transparency, fairness, impartiality and confidentiality.
• Regularly investigates new sources of materials and services.
• Collaborates with appropriate personnel regarding contingency planning for key component suppliers.
• Develops and manages the proposal, bidding, and negotiation process, while adhering to applicable legal standards and codes of ethical conduct.
• Reviews supplier financial statements / reports and evaluates overall supplier health and risk.
• Identifies, qualifies, and selects vendors of materials, equipment, products, or services, and conducts overall supplier management.
