As a Production Associate – Receiving Attendant, you will perform a variety of duties related to production of our custom doors and entryways.

Assemble with Care - Use your mechanical talents to assemble custom made doors following templates and instructions. Work with your team to trouble shoot issues and produce the highest quality product possible.
Team Support - Operate upstream equipment and processes to facilitate product flow and feed downstream activities. Work with CNC equipment, hand tools and various measurement devices.
Continually Improve - Participate in various continuous improvement activities, lending your voice to the creative problem-solving process.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming hardware from customers, suppliers and/or end-users; record material items received and store in designated holding area.
- Confirm hardware received is defect-free; if defects are found, return defective material to the appropriate party and prepare the necessary documents.
- Communicate hardware issues with vendors, customers, and internal departments as needed
- Review production schedule to determine items to be delivered to the appropriate department.
- Maintain accurate records of material items received and distributed.
- Maintain an accurate and orderly inventory rack system.
- Check-in glass deliveries, load and unload trucks.
- Communicate with detailers and hardware suppliers about issues with hardware.
- Problem solving issues with hardware in Bench or other areas of the ship.
- Pull and organize toilet partition hardware and material.
- Submit requisitions to the purchasing department as required to maintain supply room inventories; monitor and track inventory levels and usage amounts of supply room items.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and work in a manner so as not to create a health and safety hazard to oneself and coworkers.
- Responsible for cycle counting, inventory control
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift license is required.
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
- Intermediate mechanical comprehension and abilities
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry-out instructions in written, oral, and/or diagram form.
- Skills to measure and perform mathematical computations, including fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read a tape measure down to a 1/32"
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to talk and hear.
- Required to stand and walk.
- Required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 70-pounds with assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- Safety glasses are always required on the production floor.
- Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
