Three-Tier Clinical Support Model:
- BCBA: Leads clinical interventions and oversees all aspects of ABA therapy.
- ABA Supervisor (You!): Assists with case management, supervision, and clinical strategy implementation.
- Behavior Technician (BT): Provides direct ABA therapy and implements treatment plans.
Additional BCBA Oversight:
A Regional Director (BCBA) provides added clinical support, ensuring your success and offering guidance as needed.
Stimuli Support Team:
A dedicated team handles stimuli requests, ensuring you have everything you need without the added logistical effort. Focus on clinical work while they take care of the details.
Your Role as an ABA Supervisor
In this hybrid role, you will supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs), conduct behavioral assessments, and provide clinical guidance during in-home ABA therapy sessions. You'll ensure treatment fidelity, oversee data collection, and help shape individualized treatment plans promoting skill acquisition and behavior reduction. Hybrid Role: Direct in-person supervision and remote administrative work.
Key Responsibilities
Direct:
- Supervise and mentor Behavior Technicians during in-home ABA sessions.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skill assessments.
- Oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to ensure treatment fidelity.
- Support behavior reduction strategies and reinforcement techniques to drive meaningful progress.
- Ensure accurate data collection (ABC data, frequency recording, etc.) to guide treatment adjustments.
- Promote the generalization of skills across real-life settings.
Indirect:
- Analyze ABA data to adjust treatment strategies.
- Review assessment results and collaborate with families and professionals.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and BTs.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexible start/end times based on client needs). Client visits primarily occur in the afternoons, with occasional morning sessions.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in ABA or related field with an ABA concentration required.
Experience:
- Two or more years of experience as a Behavior Technician, particularly in in-home ABA therapy.
- Strong understanding of behavior modification, data collection, reinforcement strategies, Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and Natural Environment Teaching (NET).
- Experience with behavior assessments, BIP development, and task analysis preferred, but not required.
Location:
Must reside in or near Moreno Valley, CA, or surrounding areas.
