Job Description:
The CORE (Creating Opportunities, Resources, and Equity in Early Intervention) Workforce Development Fellowship Program at SNNLA is a transformative initiative designed to empower BIPOC college students, recent graduates, and clinicians. This program offers professional training, hands-on experience, and financial support to those passionate about early intervention and committed to making a difference for underserved communities.
Program Highlights:
- $25/hr stipend for completing 100 hours of anti-bias training and early intervention training.
- Student loan debt relief (up to $10,000 upon completion of all contract criteria).
- One year of work commitment with on-the-job support.
- Access to networking opportunities with industry leaders.
- Monthly workshops and professional coaching for personal and professional growth.
Eligibility Requirements:
A. College Students
- Currently enrolled (or graduated in 2024/2025) in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate Degree program in human services or related fields such as Child Development, Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Behavior Analysis, or Communication Disorders.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in all major-related units.
- Ability to commit to working as an Early Intervention Specialist for a minimum of one year with a California regional center contracted agency.
- Dedication to pursuing certification/licensing in relevant fields like Clinical Psychology, Special Education, or Physical Therapy.
B. College Graduates/Working Professionals
- Possess an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate Degree in relevant fields, with similar specializations.
- Commitment to working for at least one year in early intervention.
- Existing certification/licensure in relevant fields (or commitment to obtain it).
- Ability to commit to working as an Early Intervention Specialist for a minimum of one year with a California regional center contracted agency.
