Role Description
This is a part-time (29 hours / week during weekdays) on-site role as an Administrative Project Assistant at Special Olympics Virginia in Blacksburg, VA. The Administrative Project Assistant will be responsible for office administration, financial records, databases and logistics to support the organization's programs. Daily tasks include coordinating registration, managing records, project timelines, ensuring quality control, and communications with participants, volunteers and families. We are looking for a responsible individual, who is able to multitask.
Qualifications
- Experience with administration and event logistics
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of intellectual disabilities and inclusive practices is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web based applications and database management
