Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will focus on delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers. Your role will involve handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that every interaction leaves a positive impression. You will work closely with our sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient order processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Provide accurate information about our products, services, pricing, and delivery times.
- Process orders, track shipments, and manage customer accounts.
- Establishes and maintains customer relationships to grow profitable sales and manages assigned revenue and up sells
- Communicate service level issues and Resolve customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Maintain customer satisfaction by promptly following up on inquiries and feedback.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and customer service enhancements.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders/ seek out opportunities with new/existing customers; makes personal sales call at customer sites on occasion
- Coordinates cost reductions and monitors inventory/production to ensure on time delivery
- Follows-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution
- Maintains ERP system timely
- Completes sales call and expense reports on a timely basis
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Comfortable making calls to customers and talking to new people
- Self-motivated and self-directed. Must possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Inside sales experience or related sales experience preferred
- High school diploma required; additional education or certification in customer service is advantageous
