What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource/Safety Administrator position at Special Service Partners?
- Support General Manager with Human Resource tasks.
- Be a positive, effective and trustworthy liaison for our employees
- Maintain confidentiality & observe all HIPPA & other privacy regulations
- Work with management to identify staffing needs &/or concerns
- Solicit, qualify, interview & follow up with perspective employees, using various resources
- Monitor & process company payroll timely and accurately
- Maintain & update wage matrix as needed
- Facilitate and administer employee orientation, benefit training/enrollment, and other HR related training needed.
- Monitor and maintain emergency contact & personnel information internally and with corporate office.
- Process paperwork claims/communication for short term disability, workman's comp. & FMLA, working with general manager, corporate office, employees, & service providers.
- Maintain current and accurate environmental reports & records.
- Assist employees with COBRA or other insurance related situations.
- Assist management team with various programs as needed.
- Schedule & facilitate monthly safety meetings w/safety team members
- Oversee OSHA training and guideline requirements
- Maintain current and accurate environmental reports & records
- Monitor attendance & occurrences, communicating with management & employees as needed
Previous HR/Safety experience necessary
Knowledge of basic HR fundamentals is required.
Knowledge of employment law is required.
Knowledge of Word & Excel required.
