RT Clinical Manager and Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

The Roles:
Respiratory Therapist Clinical Manager
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist Clinical Manager with strong leadership and execution skills to manage tasks and develop a team. This exempt, full-time position works alongside with Nurse Clinical Managers and oversees Respiratory Therapists, Nursing Assistants, and Direct Care staff (RSTs). This position is Full time with a flexible 40 hours schedule.
Full-Time Respiratory Therapist
We are also hiring a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist for the evening shift. In this position, you’ll partner with the Clinical Manager to lead care delivery on our scenic, 4-acre wooded NeuroCare Campus in Romulus, MI. This is an hourly, full-time position on the midnight shift. (7:00 pm- 7:00 am).
Responsibilities:
- Provides fabulous every day care, every day to clients and other customers.
- Provides evaluation, treatment, monitoring, testing, mechanical ventilation, and education using accepted Respiratory Therapy procedures and techniques for pulmonary function, disease, processes, and prevention.
- Provides for cleanliness and maintenance of respiratory equipment and associated work areas.
- Instructs clients and families on appropriate home programs and care.
- Documents evaluations, progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with existing criteria.
- Acts as liaison and assume the duty to report and coordinate nursing services regarding client status and care.
- Acts independently and make sound clinical judgments regarding changing client status and needs and subsequent required care.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist or Certified by the American Association of Respiratory Care or National Board of Respiratory Care with comparable experience in respiratory care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- At least 2 years of experience in a critical care, ICU setting is preferred.
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
