Medical Biller Job Description:
- Review patient encounter notes and interpret it to ICDs & CPTs.
- Strong knowledge of modifiers utilization.
- Create and transmit billing claims via electronic and HCFA forms.
- Create and mail out patient statements.
- Analyze EOBs to ensure correct and full payments.
- Appeal denied claims in a timely manner.
- Respond timely to correspondences and inquiries from payers.
- Review aging reports with the manager.
- Post payments and verify EFTs.
- Setup new payers in the Clearinghouse.
- Collect insurance and patient past due balances.
- Verify benefits and eligibility, and answer billing inquiries.
Medical Biller Job Requirements:
- Current work experience as a medical biller/coder is a must.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
