Nurse Practitioner

Pay From : $55 per hour
MUST :
The Nurse Practitioner must have experience :
Completion and graduation from an accredited NP program
CPR certification required
One plus year of neurology (outpatient) experience required
Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills
Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
State licensure and board certification are required
DUITIES :
The incumbent will work with patients to master the care of these patients, following which they will work as an independent practitioner
The candidate will become facile in the use of immunosuppressive and immunomodulatory medications, as well as the symptomatic management of a variety of neurologic issues
Managing the use of Botox and intrathecal baclofen pumps for the management of spasticity specifically
Provide a wide range of neurological services performed by board-certified neurology specialists
Treat and evaluate patients with headaches
The NP shall provide clinical care of patients with headaches with a split of new and follow-up patients
Request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated
Order diagnostic tests as applicable
Prescribe and dispense medications as delineated by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling
Formulate a health care plan for patients and modify the plan as needed
