What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant position at Specialists in Cardiovascular Medicine?
Busy cardiology practice seeks a Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant to work Monday through Friday. Reception duties include checking in patients utilizing an electronic medical record, collecting copays and balances due, scanning records, answering telephone calls and creating triages, scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, verifying insurance, balancing daily fee slips, checking out as needed, and other front office duties. Medical Assistant duties include rooming patients, assisting with nuclear stress testing and stress echocardiograms, managing fax bin and triages, scheduling appointments and testing, authorizations, applying Holter monitors, and other duties as assigned. Must be friendly, kind, organized, and efficient. Must have ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.

Pay: $17.74 - $18.31 per hour
