3rd Shift Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor, to oversee and perform tasks to support the manufacturing process for 3rd shift. Responsibilities include leading 3rd shift associates to ensure production goals are met, maintaining high-quality standards, promoting a safe work environment, and operating equipment to produce parts and/or products. Additionally, the employee is expected to contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending ideas and methods to enhance production efficiency.

3rd shift M-T 7:30pm-6am

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor production line operators to ensure efficient workflow and high morale. Assist operators when needed.
• Production Oversight: Manage daily operations of the production line, ensuring that production targets are met, and materials are used efficiently. Report efficiency gaps to Supervisor
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process to ensure that products meet quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Accurately fill out production, scrap, and other reports as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement process improvements and increase production efficiency. Maintain 5S at all times.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between the production floor and management, ensuring that updates and feedback are effectively communicated. Ensure customer expectations are being met with product specifications, packaging requirements and on time shipments.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety protocols.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions on the spot.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality control and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey instructions clearly and concisely.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed.
