Responsibilities
How you’ll do it:
- Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
- Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
- Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
- Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
- Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
- Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
- Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.

What we’ll need from you:
- Masters in Counseling Degree with a PPS credential required.
- Two full years of Elementary School experience, not including internships required.
- Additional Details:
- 5 LAUSD Elementary schools: St Aloysius, St Columbkille, Precious Blood, St Malachy, Our Lady of Guadalupe Rose Hill. All part time positions that can be combined into a full time position.
