Location: Bergen County East: Englewood, Fort Lee, Fairview, North Arlington
Pay Rate: $40-45/hour
Schedule: 15 hours/month

Catapult Learning is seeking a part-time, lead school nurse to work in East Bergen County non-public schools. Candidates must have an active NJ RN License. The ideal candidate will have experience with pediatric patients. This is a part time position. Compensation is $40-45/hr. Candidates must be willing to travel locally to various campuses.

Responsibilities
- Review immunization records for school age children
- Assist with Medical/Dental Screening
- Prepare and file state reports as required by law
- Conduct audiometric, scoliosis, vision & Height and Weight screenings
- Provide other optional screenings as needed, ex. Blood Pressure, Lice
- Maintain student health records
- Administer medication and/or treatment when necessary for pupils to attend school
- Provide first aid and emergency care to all school age children
- Provide the following services as promulgated by individual State Law/Regulation:
- Notify parent/guardian if a screening defect is found upon screening and recommend appropriate follow-up
- Observe and recommend to principal, exclusion of students who show evidence of communicable diseases and/or whose immunization records are not received from parent/guardian after numerous attempts.
- Submit monthly report of health services and screenings performed to Catapult Learning Regional Director
- Other duties may be assigned
- Valid New Jersey RN License, as required by contract.
- Local daily travel
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
- Basic Life Support CPR - Professional Rescuer or Healthcare Provider card, as required by contract.
- Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
- Must be proficient with virtual platforms, i.e. Zoom, MS Office, etc.
USD $40.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.
