What You’ll Do
As a Rental & Repairs Technician, you’ll take ownership of:
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental and customer equipment to ensure it’s in top working condition.
- Tool Regrinding: Operating and maintaining in-house equipment to regrind tools to precision standards.
- Operations Support: Collaborating with the regional team to manage inventory, forecast rental cycles, and improve processes.
- Customer Interaction: Delivering exceptional service through professional communication and technical know-how.
- Continuous Improvement: Leading or assisting with projects to enhance our rental and repair programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, and repair rental and customer equipment.
- Function test machines and verify inventory.
- Paint and repair equipment containers.
- Regrind blades and ensure proper tool operation.
- Complete accurate documentation for all service and shipping activities.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members.
- Participate in on-call rotation and occasional travel.
What You Bring
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience, or a combination of education and hands-on experience.
- Strong multitasking and technical skills.
- A team-first attitude with a commitment to excellence.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Workplace: Traditional shop setting with occasional noise and temperature swings. Personal protective equipment required.
- Physical: Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds (with assistance) and perform tasks requiring close vision and manual dexterity.
