JOB SUMMARY

Perform various senior financial analyst duties as assigned. Primarily responsible for providing finance leadership on cross-functional teams, synthesizing data into information that enables a clear understanding of business performance and developing processes and tools to improve data-driven decisions. Ad hoc projects and other responsibilities assigned as business needs arise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and regularly monitor budget adherence, identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to predict future financial performance and support business decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership to drive data-driven decisions throughout the company.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial health and performance.
  • Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive landscape to provide recommendations for strategic financial planning.
  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, and provide comprehensive financial models and projections.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend strategies for risk mitigation to safeguard the company's financial stability.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports to senior management, offering insights into financial trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, support decision-making, and drive financial best practices across the organization.
  • Support both corporate and regional entities regarding financial reviews of the business.
  • Develop and implement new financial planning and analysis processes and tools.
  • Create slide decks and presentations for management reviews at all levels of the company.
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports with insightful analytics.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects as assigned (e.g. pricing strategies, make / buy decisions, inventory levels, etc.)
  • Assist other employees with their responsibilities to help balance workload when needed.
  • Work well with a variety of personalities, manage stress in a professional manner, maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, and work overtime when required to meet business needs.
  • Engage with individuals and teams across extended time zones (e.g. Asia, Europe, Middle East, across the U.S.).This requires periodic meetings during non-standard business hours.
  • Travel occasionally
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of (5 ) years’ experience in financial planning, analysis & modeling, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., Syteline).
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and insights.
  • Experience utilizing databases to mine for data to support analytical research.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations and international business units.
  • Experience effectively testing assumptions and respectfully challenging status quo behaviors.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Prophix
