- Determine raw material needs and purchase product as needed to support production.
- Directing shipping / receiving to maximize trucking efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
- Create production schedules for all departments based on customer demand.
- Issue / backflush manufacturing orders.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts, and cycle counts.
- Maintain heat-treat records for inspector.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education, experience, certifications, skills, and / or abilities required for this position.
Education & Experience :
APICS CPIM certification is required.
Sage 300 experience is required.
Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Business required.
Skills / Abilities :
Ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as to communicate effectively.
Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required overtime.
Ability to effectively self-manage time and service multiple areas.
Effectively use Microsoft Office.
Supervisory Responsibility : Oversees purchasing, customer service, shipping & receiving.

Working Conditions : The work environment for this position is an office / warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather which exposes the employee to outdoor conditions.
