- Identify potential hazards in the workplace, conduct risk assessments, and prioritize safety concerns.
- Oversee operations to ensure safety compliance and create a culture of safety-mindedness.
- Develop plans that help operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead personnel and hold others accountable while maintaining professionalism; evaluate employees and give feedback for improvement.
- Assign direct reports as needed to ensure production is safely being met.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education, experience, certifications, skills, and / or abilities required for this position.
Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, or a combination of the two.
Skills / Abilities :
Ability to read and understand work instructions, as well as to communicate effectively.
Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required overtime.
Ability to effectively self-manage time and service multiple areas.
Ability to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
Ability to work effectively and independently on plant operations and projects as a member or leader of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively through written and oral communication.
Ability to present to groups of people.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Supervisory Responsibility : Production team.

Working Conditions : The work environment for this position is a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather which exposes the employee to outdoor conditions.
