Supply Chain Analyst

Basic Purpose

Primary function is to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. To support purchasing functions through all departments.

Minimum Position Specifications

4-year college degree or equivalent. Computer and analytical skills required. Strong communication and organization skills. Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Dual Supply Chain Management/Packaging Major a plus.

Direct Responsibilities:

· Review and process request for quotes to obtain competitive supplier pricing

· Responsible for ensuring we have competitive, accurate costs and acceptable delivery timing.

· Responsible for supplier selection and program award

· Processes purchase orders and sample requests. Responsible for ensuring accurate costs as well as acceptable delivery timing.

· Discover and develop and on-board new suppliers according to business needs

· Insure accurate and timely flow of data between all departments

· Responsible for conflict resolution with suppliers

· Perform cost-saving initiatives to increase company margin

· Engage with new and existing suppliers to transform them into strategic manufacturing partners

· Assist with quality programs including corrective action and root cause assessment

· Assist in tracking metrics and supplier scorecards.
