What are the responsibilities and job description for the LEASING SPECIALIST position at SPECIALIZED REAL ESTATE GROUP?
Description
As a Leasing Specialist, you are the "face" of the neighborhood and the first person a future resident meets when they find their new home! Your role is to build relationships with prospective residents and highlight all of the benefits of living at a Specialized Real Estate Group property. You will manage a pipeline of inbound leads and self-sourced leads while also partnering closely with market employers to achieve leasing goals.
The Leasing Specialist must have an all hands on deck mentality and be is eager and willing to jump in and help to get the job done! You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, make decisions quickly, be a self-starter and a time management wiz! Follow-up and attention to detail is critical. You should have a sharp focus on goals and an understanding how assigned daily, weekly and monthly activities help achieve those goals. You should understand the logistics behind the sales processes, planning, executing, and building out systems in customer relationship management software. Finally, you must demonstrate Specialized Real Estate Group’s core values and strive to achieve our mission every day!
GREETING/POINT OF CONTACT
- Manage the front desk during business hours (approx. 9am - 6pm) and prep/close the space for the day outside of these times
- Welcome people entering/exiting the coworking space
- Greet people who come in for tours, track walk-ins, answer the phone, transfer calls, and send/assign tasks to team members for follow up as necessary
LEASING
- Manage a pipeline of to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential lessors
- Showcase the value of living at a Specialized Real Estate Group property using a mix of inbound and outbound marketing methods
- Hit and exceed monthly leasing goals and provide input in the marketing materials needed to help you succeed
OPERATIONS
- Assist with move-ins and assist in the preparation and distribution of resident welcome packets
- Reply to requests submitted through the property management system as needed
- Handle Mail and Package responsibilities as needed
- Identify issues to escalate to General Manager and document accordingly
EVENTS & COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
- Assist with planning and executing resident events
- Prepare space for events (setup, takedown, clean up)
- Promote events and on-site activities to residents

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient in basic computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
