Job Title: Application Support Specialist
Location: Osceola, Arkansas

Compensation: $65,000-75,000 ANNUAL BONUS $15,000-50,000
The Application Support Specialist delivers exceptional customer service by leveraging technical and business knowledge to triage, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve or escalate business application issues.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Safety, Environmental & Quality Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements, including Responsible Steel requirements where applicable.
Incident Management:
- Monitor and respond to open tickets submitted through the incident management system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues efficiently.
Escalation & Collaboration:
- Identify and escalate unresolved alerts to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide clarity and relevant troubleshooting information.
Service Request Management:
- Prioritize and manage service requests and incidents to ensure timely resolution.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.
- Document and enhance technical processes using Azure DevOps.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with system stakeholders to manage change requests, prioritize issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Application Health Monitoring:
- Perform daily health checks to monitor and maintain application performance.
Application Configuration & Administration:
- Install, configure, and administer business applications.
Automation Development:
- Develop scripts to automate repeatable manual tasks and improve efficiency.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience in IT-related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a business-facing Technical Support role.
- Highly skilled in Windows OS.
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
- Experience using Microsoft SQL and Oracle.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users.
Preferred Skills:
- Industry experience in manufacturing, preferably in steel.
Salary : $15,000 - $50,000
