What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator position at Specialized Recruiting Group - Charlotte, NC?
• Evaluate trade partners pricing and set up new trade partners, request estimates, evaluate costs. Finding trade partners that are quick, efficient and quality.
• Obtain estimates for new plans and maintain pricing on existing plans. Working to push for speed and accuracy in estimates.
• Establish a robust system for updating pricing and integrating accounting to estimation data.
• Evaluate and investigate overages /underages and work with Construction Managers to help solve potential issues for greater field accuracy and speed.
• Work with plan designers to resolve design issues with a goal of plan clarity.
• Identify potential supply chain issues and source vendors to resolve proactively. Identify the coming storms and be ready when they hit.
• Identify and execute new and innovative ways to cost a project through bulk buy strategies, new products and supply chain opportunities.
• Estimate framing materials, block and brick foundations. All other estimating is vendor provided.
• Request and follow up on pricing from subs and vendors to keep them on track for quickly estimating a new design.
• Ascertain scope of estimates received to verify that scope matches spec and plan design.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
