A leading medical technology company in Franklin Lakes, NJ, is seeking a Technical Accounting Research Senior Analyst to join their team. This hybrid position involves conducting in-depth technical accounting research, preparing position papers, and providing guidance on various accounting matters. The role supports the company's external reporting processes and ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP for complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform technical accounting research and prepare position papers on significant transactions to ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on inquiries related to revenue recognition, fixed assets, R&D arrangements, and lease accounting.
- Clarify and communicate the company's finance policy requirements to the global finance community.
- Assist with accounting and documentation related to mass tort litigation.
- Support external reporting processes, including SEC filings and disclosures.
- Contribute to accounting, documentation, and valuation efforts for mergers and acquisitions.
- Aid in the implementation of new U.S. GAAP requirements.
