Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our client's team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing multiple small to medium-sized construction projects, which may include routine to moderately complex projects, a single large project, or multiple-contract projects of a routine nature. This role involves directing the day-to-day activities of construction representatives and coordinators, ensuring all construction management activities are coordinated and controlled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Familiarize with project contract documents and manage all construction management activities, including critical path method (CPM), scheduling, and claims administration.
- Interpret plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and field personnel.
- Provide direction to shop drawing professionals and coordinate dissemination of shop drawings to project stakeholders.
- Offer internal consultation and serve as a technical resource to construction representatives and other functional groups.
- Document deficiencies, expected cost overruns, and any issues with materials or construction-related risks.
- Prepare and maintain reports, including monthly progress and daily construction activity reports.
- Collaborate with sales staff, practice leaders, and project managers to develop new business opportunities.
- Review government or funding agency regulations to provide consultative services that are compliant with legal requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
