A growing electric company in Texarkana, TX, is seeking a Service Estimator/Assistant Project Manager to join their team. The company specializes in industrial, commercial, and residential electrical projects and is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to its customers.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate small to medium-sized industrial, commercial, and residential electrical work.
- Bid jobs using blueprints or through on-site walkthroughs with customers.
- Write and provide detailed scopes of work as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure project efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of bids, proposals, and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, with a preference for candidates who hold or have previously held an electrical license.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools for estimating and reporting.
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and creating job scopes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
