We are seeking an experienced Specialty Trades Estimator to join our team. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise in reading blueprints, and proficiency in digital estimating tools. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction estimating, an organized and systematic approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with general contractors and architects to ensure successful project bids.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates based on project blueprints, specifications, and requirements
- Utilize digital estimating tools (no pen-and-paper methods) for efficiency and accuracy
- Analyze layouts, tiles, and other key project details to ensure precision in estimates
- Develop and maintain relationships with GCs, architects, and project stakeholders
- Follow up on project bids and ensure thorough communication and execution
- Work closely with internal teams to align on project scope, timelines, and budget considerations
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in estimating (preferably in construction, flooring, tile, concrete, or finish trades)
- Strong technical skills, including blueprint/spec reading and digital estimating software
- Detail-oriented, systematic, and highly organized approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams and clients
- Motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and mentor others
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule & Reporting:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- 90% in-office role, with occasional travel to job sites
- Reports to the owner of the company
