Full Job Description
Specialized Residential Services is looking for a motivational leader to manage one of our Adult Foster care facilities, and join our team of leaders dedicated to the well-being of our community.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all residential care staff-related functions at the assigned house site.
  • Communicates regularly with the Senior Manager.
  • Monitors and maintains employee scheduling
  • Manages and documents facility site budget, petty cash and resident funds.
  • Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the facility is maintained.
  • Works with the maintenance department to communicate all facility maintenance issues.
  • Oversees all administrative, clerical record-keeping, clinical record keeping, medication administration, transportation, and coordination of care duties at the assigned site.
  • Communicates with all internal and external clinical, medical, and regulatory services.
  • Attends client appointments as scheduled and maintains regular client interaction.
  • On-call responsibilities may be shared with other qualified residential care staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Ability to prioritize time management efficiently to ensure all responsibilities are met.
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment, adhere efficient delivery of person-centered and behavior treatment plans.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with licensing consultant, case managers and guardians.
  • Ensure all documentation (electronic and paper) is completed in a timely and professional manner according to contractual obligations and INC guidelines.
  • Ensure that the community integration , and medical needs of each person are met, with appropriate follow up documentation completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Licensing , LARA guidelines are followed.
  • Ensure the rights of people and guardians are with dignity and respect and adhere to take necessary actions to remediate potential or actual violations occurs per county and state requirements.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for continuous growth in your role.
  • Lead with INC Core Values
  • Identify problems and be accountable when addressing
  • Demonstrate effective management competencies, as evidenced by full operational needs of the home with successful outcomes.
  • Maintain on-call availability to manage and coordinate emergency situations as they arise in addition to emergency shifts coverage if needed
  • Ensure timely scheduling for staff are completed to ensure the needs of the home are met.

Education & Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • A minimum of 2 years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human service discipline strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ previous leadership experience working in a healthcare or behavioral healthcare-related field required.
  • 2 years’ previous management or supervisory experience required.
  • Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within AFC programs.
  • Required to maintain industry-required training, a physical and TB screenings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates all core competencies related to MI, DD, Autism, etc.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language required.

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
