Job description
Specialized Support Services, Inc. is looking to strengthen our team of professionals who lead our work on the ground supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live in Individualized Supported Living (ISL) homes. Our Professional Managers ideally have an undergraduate degree in a human services related field, or 24 hours of undergraduate credits in human services.
Our Professional Managers are self-starters, creative, passionate about the field and able to communicate effectively and think critically. Computer and digital proficiency come to our Professional Managers naturally as they work with the latest technologies and digital platforms to optimize planning and reporting.
Professional Managers oversee ISL homes and colleagues who staff ISL homes while paying particular attention to quality of life and community integration on behalf of our consumers.
While Professional Managers generally work regular hours during the week Monday through Friday from our regional office, there are times when they are asked to work in ISLs and there is a requirement that they be available for rotating on-call schedules.
