EMT-Basic

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled EMT-Basic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in various situations. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Duties

• Perform assessments to prioritize patient care based on the severity of their condition.
• Provide critical care and urgent care interventions as needed during emergencies.
• Conduct physical examinations and document findings accurately.
• Administer injections as required for patient treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in emergency medicine settings.
• Maintain knowledge of physiology to assess patient conditions accurately.
• Transport patients safely while monitoring their vital signs and overall condition.
• Ensure compliance with all program protocols and emergency medical service regulations.

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience or training in the following areas:

• Procedures and critical care techniques.
• Urgent care practices in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and experience administering injections.
• Knowledge of airway management strategies.
• Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and hospital procedures.

The successful EMT-Basic will demonstrate a passion for helping others, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be able to remain calm under pressure while providing exceptional patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.60 - $22.57 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
