Quality Assurance Associate

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Fridley, MN. This Quality Assurance position will participate in various duties in the day-to-day operations of the business. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, team-oriented, has a background in a technical science area (ideally microbiology or chemistry) or related work history, and possesses the drive to manage critical areas of quality control. The position is full-time Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Review and draft Standard Operating Procedures/Control Forms

• Oversee supplier qualification process and documentation

• Audit systems against our quality policy

• Employee quality control training

• Oversee finished product label review

• Implement incoming product quality inspections

• Complete client quality questionnaires

• Oversee product testing and release

• Generate and manage certificates of analysis

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field and or relevant work history in a related position

• Prior cGMP environment experience preferred but not required

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Self-starter that requires minimal oversight

• Ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and listening skills required

• Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office Products

• Basic math skills

• Outgoing attitude and desire to achieve results

• Orientation towards teamwork and a collaborative work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
