What are the responsibilities and job description for the EWP WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE position at Specialty Building Products?
We are currently looking for an EWP Warehouse associate to join our VALUES based organization in Indianapolis, IN. In this role you will focus on :
Responsibilities and Essential Functions :
- Safely operate forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
- Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
- Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
- Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
- Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
- Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products.
- Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec Industrial Saw.
- Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders.
