Reeb® Millwork an SBP Brand is looking for a Material Handler on Second Shift (4pm -2 : 30am EST) to join our VALUES-based organization. We seek to serve people first, and we operate according to a moral compass aimed at doing what is right even when it is hard.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Batch paperwork by aisle for supply to the steel shop (wood shop is batched by scheduler)
- Pull doors, inserts and lites after scanning work order with a hand-held scanner
- Stage material in the correct order to supply the shop - inserts on cart to match the order of the doors
- Assure constant production flow by stacking material appropriately
- Make inventory adjustments when indicated
- Communicate constantly with the production scheduler, shop supervisor and department manager to assure continuing production in the shop
- Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
- Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as pulled
- Assure proper housekeeping and organization on the receiving dock
- Strive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without compromising accuracy
- Use of forklift and order picker required
- Assist production personnel to remove an RTV or damaged door and replace with a new door
- Assist receiving and / or order pullers when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
