We are currently looking for an Operations Manager - Trainee with U.S. Lumber, to join our VALUES based organization. The Trainee period does not have a specific time frame but generally takes 12-18 months to become familiar with the business in order to assume greater responsibility. In this role you will focus on : Responsibilities : Oversee daily functions of all employees and drivers on the yardManage inventory for receiving, distribution, placement, deliveries, and new productResponsible for staff development through performance management and training assessmentMaintain and control operating costsAssign driver runsQualifications : Four (4) years or more of related experienceMust have basic math and analytical skillsMust be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookBachelor's Degree, preferred but not requiredSpecialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
