Medical Assistant / NCT - Full time
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, on patients in the clinic
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper radiation protection for patients and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Assist with patient care and comfort during imaging procedures
Skills:
- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and related technology
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
1. BAT - DOT Breath Alcohol Testing Certificate
2. DOT Urine Drug screen collector
3. Rapid Drug screening
4. NCT certification - X-ray Technologist
5. MA License
Pay Rate: $18-24/hr depends on experience
