Jungle Roots Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics has been serving the Ahwatukee area for over 30 years. We are looking for someone that is dedicated, dependable, and eager to help others. You will have a role in creating a comfortable and friendly environment for our patients and the team.
- Providing excellent patient care.
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, and preparing materials.
- Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
- Preparing patients and assisting dentists with dental procedures.
- Recording treatment information in patient records.
- Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
- Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
- Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Caring for dental equipment.
- Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred.
- Able to provide a positive experience and customer service.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude.
- Have excellent communication and written skills.
- Work well with patients and team.
- Committed to the position arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
Compensation:
