Assisting the orthodontist by preparing patients for treatment, taking x-rays, taking impressions of teeth, placing and adjusting braces, educating patients on proper oral hygiene with braces, maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth operation of the office by sterilizing instruments and managing supplies; essentially performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks under the direction of the orthodontist to provide quality orthodontic care to patients.
